The above interest rates and annual percentage yields are effective as of 3/12/2010 and subject to change at any time.

Rates are locked for 10 calendar days at time of account opening to allow you time to fund your CD. If we receive your funds within 10 calendar days of the day you opened your account, you will receive the rate effective on your application date. Accounts funded after this time will receive the rate effective at time of funding.

* The APY assumes that interest remains on deposit until maturity. A penalty will be imposed for early withdrawal. An early withdrawal will reduce earnings; this fee may reduce earnings.

Costco Member Incentive
If you are a Costco Executive Member you will receive $60 or if you are a Gold Star or Business Member, you will receive $20 when you open your first Capital One Direct Banking account of any kind through Costco and deposit at least $5000 within 30 days of opening the account. The incentive will be credited to your new account balance.

Certificates of Deposit: The APY in effect for an 18-month CD was 1.01%, the APY in effect for a 2-year CD was 1.30%, the APY in effect for a 30-month CD was 0.80%, the APY in effect for a 3-year CD was 1.95%, the APY in effect for a 4-year CD was 2.55%, the APY in effect for a 5-year CD was 2.80%, the APY in effect for a 7-year CD was 3.05%, and the APY in effect for a 10-year CD was 3.05%. Other rates and terms are also available. A minimum deposit of $5,000 is required to open a CD. A minimum deposit of $100,000 is required to open a Jumbo CD. A substantial penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal; this fee could reduce earnings. Rates may change at any time. Rate Disclosure

Costco Member Incentive: To receive the $60 Costco member incentive, you must be a Costco Executive Member at the time you open your account. To receive the $20 Costco member incentive, you must be a Costco Gold Star or Business Member at the time you open your account. This must be your first Capital One Direct Banking account of any kind through the Costco program and you must fund your account with at least $5,000 within 30 days of account opening. The member incentive will be credited to your account 4-6 weeks after you fund your account and may occur as two partial credits. The amount of the incentive may be reported to the IRS as required by applicable law. Please keep this incentive disclosure for your records.
