Variable Rate Information

You must deposit at least $5,000.00 to open this account. Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change. At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account daily. Interest will be compounded on a daily basis, and will be credited on a monthly basis. Interest begins to accrue on the day we receive electronic funds and one business day after we receive all other non-cash deposits, including checks, and cashier's checks.

Balance computation method

The daily balance method is used to calculate interest. This method applies daily periodic rates to the collected balance in the account each day. Fractional interest rounds up for a half cent or more and rounds down (and does not accrue) if less than a half cent.

InterestPlus Online Savings Transaction Limitations

No more than a maximum of six withdrawals in any calendar month are permitted. ATM cards and checks are not available for this account.

Quarterly Bonus

This account may be eligible for a quarterly bonus. Each quarterly bonus will be equal to 10% of the interest earned on this account in the previous quarter. In order to be eligible to receive this bonus, your InterestPlus Online Savings account must be open and you must maintain an average monthly balance of at least $10,000 in this account every month during the previous quarter. The bonus will be paid to your account within 4-8 weeks after the end of each quarter and will be reflected on your periodic statement. This account offers electronic statements only. The amount of the bonus may be reported to the IRS as required by applicable law.

Costco Member Incentive

If you are a Costco Executive Member you will receive $60, or if you are a Gold Star or Business Member, you will receive $20 when you open your first Capital One Bank deposit account of any kind through Costco and deposit at least $5000 within 30 days of opening the account. The incentive will be credited to your new account balance.
