The best way to call us collect from outside the U.S. is to:
1. Engage an international (live) operator
2. Tell the operator you are calling the U.S. collect
3. Provide our number (001-804-934-2001) to the operator
4. Give your name as "Capital One Customer" when prompted
Getting in touch with an international operator varies depending on where you are calling from. Go to http://www.usa.att.com/traveler/index.jsp and:
1. From the drop down menu at the top of the page, choose the country you are calling from and click 'go'
2. Clink the link labeled detailed dialing instructions
3. Scroll down to the section labeled "COLLECT CALL to the U.S." and follow the instructions
