- About Commercial Banking
When you work with Capital One's Commercial Real Estate Group, you benefit from our extensive experience in permanent and construction loans for a broad range of asset classes. If you focus on individual projects in multifamily housing, retail, office, student housing, industrial or parking facilities, we can make a real difference. And, we regularly provide financing to Real Estate Investment Trusts, Real Estate Investment Funds, Opportunity Funds, and DUS Warehouse facilities.
We offer balance sheet financing in an increasing number of key markets, including Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. California is next up, and we intend to grow from there. And we offer Agency financing for multifamily properties through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA nationwide.
Ultimately, we understand that the ability to develop the customized solution that's right for you depends on bankers who see real estate the way you do. Our experienced Real Estate Relationship Managers will invest the time and energy to get to know you and your business --and to advocate for you as they manage all aspects of the relationship, from financing and underwriting to cash flow optimization and interest-rate hedging. Your manager can also work with colleagues at Capital One Commercial to integrate such services as Treasury Management or Commercial Lending.
In addition, you'll have a designated Account Executive - an expert in the cash management needs of property owners and developers - who works closely with the Relationship Manager to tailor the right solution for each client's unique circumstances.
We understand that timing is important to you, so we offer a number of in-house services to speed up the closing process. Our staff includes an architect who can review plans and specifications and perform construction monitoring. Our appraisal department includes several MAI-designated appraisers, who can examine projections, appraisals, and environmental reports.
